UTC’s TEDxTalks inspire reflection

A TEDxTalks conference took place in a UTC lecture hall on March 28, 2026 on the theme “Exploring Your Time.” It was an afternoon of talks featuring six speakers, each speaking for 20 minutes about our current world.
Members of the TEDxUTC association were delighted to welcome six speakers to the TEDxTalks event in late March. “We took over this association in September. The goal was to show students new ways of thinking and new perspectives on the world through the journeys and experiences of people from outside UTC. TEDx talks make this possible. We invite speakers from outside the UTC system who can inspire engineering students—who need to understand the many facets of the world in order to make the right decisions in the future,” explains Alix Amanton, president of TEDxUTC. Among the speakers was Claire Blondel, an engineer by training, who began her career in the industry before joining Decathlon, where she developed a strong background in management and innovation. In 2007, she left her position to move to Japan: an experience that marked the beginning of a remarkable international journey. Joris Bossard is a New Space expert and member of 3I3Signature LLC; he is also a science communicator and coordinator of events related to space and science.
