The ben­e­fits of phys­i­cal activ­i­ty and a bal­anced diet are well estab­lished. Whether it con­cerns healthy indi­vid­u­als, to pre­vent dis­eases, or for peo­ple suf­fer­ing from chron­ic patholo­gies, by improv­ing both their phys­i­cal and moral qual­i­ty of life. How­ev­er, phys­i­cal inac­tiv­i­ty and seden­tary lifestyles are on the rise in all sec­tors of Soci­ety, par­tic­u­lar­ly among young peo­ple. Hence the warn­ing issued by the World Health Orga­ni­za­tion (WHO). Accord­ing to WHO, almost 500 mil­lion new cas­es of pre­ventable chron­ic dis­ease will de diag­nosed between 2020 and 2030, if the lev­el of phys­i­cal inac­tiv­i­ty remains at this level.
